Hey guys so I just received a new laptop and started playing Civ 5 brave new world on it. Monitoring the temps just to see how it handled i noticed that about after 10 minutes of play my cpu reached high 80s to low 90s. Thi is a new haswell 4700, should I be worried about such temperatures? Or do you guys think its nothing to worry about.

What laptop is this? Those temperatures area bit high but then the Civilization series is very CPU intensive so if your laptop has poor cooling, that would do it.

Civilization V, in particular, is also very intensive on the GPU too. The GPU could be contributing to the temperature as well, especially if the chassis cannot displace the heat.

I would have expected the cooling on this laptop to be decent. Should I be worried about this though?
